Taking Care of Our Employees

The success of our company results from teamwork. It is based on pooling the knowledge of our employees, and on the sharing of information, views, and attitudes.

At MIK we strive to achieve those values that ensure high standards during our operations that exclude unnecessary work, and that contribute to better interpersonal relations. Such values are our major guidelines during daily operations. We understand these values to be useful if we respect them, and carry them out. We strive to create environmentally-friendly working processes which help to motivate our employees. It is only in this kind of environment that we feel good and appreciated. In this way we are able to give of our best.

We strive to encourage personal enhancement and motivate individuals for promotion. This has proved to be the best motivation, and is respected and valued by our employees. Our MIK team does its best, and by our individual efforts we are not only working for ourselves but also for the good of the company. We live the ‘MIK spirit’.

We are a good team and often socialise together outside work. We have a group of cyclists who regularly go on trips around Slovenia. Apart from cycling we offer a free yoga course conducted by one of our former colleagues.

Every Spring we organise a picnic and invite our employees together with their families, as we believe the whole family is part of our company and vice versa.

At the end of each year, at Christmas time, our employees' children are rewarded for their work at school and given presents when Santa visits our MIK premises.
